8 ½ in. x 12 1/8 in.; one inch thick. Brown leather with four raised bands on the spine. Four nickel-silver corner pieces on the front cover. In the center of the front panel is a Murano glass cameo showing a standing female holding a harp. Approximately one hundred blank leaves of quality paper. Housed in a box with a removable top; the box is covered with paper having a calligraphy motif, and is lined with soft, light-gold cloth. A gold ribbon, weighted on the outer end, is affixed to the cloth across its width for aid in lifting the book from the box. Some of the corners of the box show light wear. The spine of the book shows four small scuff marks of ½ in. or less, plus another mark not much larger than a point. Weight of the item is 4 ¼ lbs. Postage may be extra on this item.
