If you’re a beginner who is looking for a single system to learn Thai, then Learning Thai Your Great Adventure (LTYGA) is the book you've been seeking.
LTYGA is Volume 1 of Quest
The entry point for our Quest (Quick, Easy, Simple Thai) system, LTYGA will give you all you need to start your adventure……and will open up the path to your language success.
Quest: Our End-to-End System for Learning Thai
Quest will take you from knowing nothing, all the way through to reading Thai. But, what makes us different?
We provide an end-to-end system for learning Thai that will ensure you can speak and read Thai by the time you reach Quest-end.
Even better, you’ll savour every little adventure as you go:
“…your method really appeals to me and is FUN as well as clear. Thanks so much for all your hard work – I hope it all pays off for you and Duangta!” Uda Goode,Chippenham*
Designed For the Beginning Thai Learners
Designed with the absolute beginner in mind we make what has traditionally been classed as difficult, easy:“I want to thank you for creating a system in which learning Thai is much much more natural rather than filled with ‘technical jargon’…” Emiliusz Smorczewski,Illinois*
You may know there are 12 different transliteration systems in Thailand (this is where the sounds of Thai are written in English) but as your goal is to learn Thai, why bother with them?Sure, it’s a good place to start, but having to learn 1 transliteration system is still 1 too many.
Learning Thai is Your Goal
So we help you to get passed the transliteration and onto learning Thai.We use:
- our own specially devised color-coding system—colours make it so simple to identify the language parts
- memory aids—acronyms and mnemonics to help you learn what otherwise is complex: saving you hours of struggling to absorb the dreaded ‘language rule’
“I will inform you that learning Thai with the help of LTYGA and your online application has never been easier. Moreover, I must say that the resources that you have created are the best that I've found to learn the Thai script because all the necessary knowledge is in one place and these resources, I feel, are based on the student's needs to learn; to learn Thai without the hassles of jargon. LTYGA and your online application are to the point. I like that a lot.” Emiliusz Smorczewski, Illinois*
