Neuware - Accuracy and fluency in the basic math facts - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division - are of crucial importance for enjoyment of, and competence in, all future mathematical endeavors. The idea of this book is that at a certain point on the hierarchy of skill, it is much more pleasant and useful to practice math facts while looking at visual aids that give the learners clear images of how big are the numbers are. This book advances 'broken number lines' as visual aids that can render math facts much more pleasant to learn. It also harnesses other more traditional visual aids such as double nine dominoes. This book often finds its best use when a tutor and a student work through it together.
