From the Author
The target audience for the book is anyone who has a keen interest in exploring how computer graphics is being used in movies, games and commericals. The goal of the book is to introduce a novice to the exciting field of computer graphics. The book introduces the fundamental concepts in modeling, rendering, animation and image manipulation (warping, morphing and compositing). To implement the learning-by-doing model, the book comes with software enabling the reader to implement and experiment with the principles discussed in each chapter. The complete computer graphics software works on Windows-95 (or higher) PCs and can be used to do modeling, animation, rendering, and special effects too.
