Two manuscripts in one book:
- Italian: Learn Italian for Beginners: A Simple Guide that Will Help You on Your Language Learning Journey
- Italian Phrase Book: 2500 Super Helpful Phrases and Words You’ll Want for Your Trip to Italy
The purpose of this book is to present itself as the best solution for those approaching Italian for the first time. This is not a booklet with a handful of sentences already built or a two-thousand-page manual on how to become a Neo-Latin linguist. What the next few pages lay out is the groundwork for proper communication in Italian. You will see the construction of sentences, the use of accents, and then the most common expressions of this idiom.
Italian is a musical language, beautiful to hear and speak, but very difficult to master. This is why you will take small steps, moving forward only once a concept is fully understood.
You will start with the pronouns, singular and plural, and discover the first differences that run between English and Italian. At this point, the book will focus on verbs, to explain and analyze all the elements that are part of a sentence, before discovering the most common sentences used in Italian.
This way, the language you will learn will be the one used every day, which will allow you to move freely around the Italian streets and get to know the uses and customs of Italian.
You will see how to present yourself, friends, and family, talk about school and work, enjoy art and food, and get to the most common questions that every aspiring Italian speaker asks.
This manual will cover everything you need to know to take your first steps in Italy. For this reason, much of the book is dedicated to the Italian culture. This is because it is essential to understand the people behind a language in order to love it even more and fully understand it. Knowing the culture will allow you to develop more conversational Italian, as well as having all the information you need if you ever decide to travel to Italy.
