Nice tight copy, no names inside. ; B&W Illustrations and Photographs; 128 pages; Ballroom and dance legend, Courtenay Castle was known as the Guvnor and he started just after the Second World War by opening one dance school in London. From this one dance school he built an empire with over 30 Dance schools making it Britain’s Largest Dance School Chain and the second largest in the world next to Arthur Murray. With over 100,000 pupils attending classes every week Courtney became known as The Man who brings Dancing to the Millions. The secret was to make learning to dance as simple and as affordable as possible in a friendly way and this informative little book with it's clear step diagrams is a masterpiece of teaching.
