nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - What would you do if you were given your life back In February 2014, Roderick Wood died. For half an hour, his heart stopped, until a lifesaving team brought him back. What followed wasn't just recovery. It was a flood of memories, decades old, suddenly vivid and urgent, as if his brain knew exactly how close he'd come to losing them forever.Lazarus is the story Roderick raced to put down on paper before those memories could fade again, a raw, funny, and unflinchingly honest account of a life lived at full volume: free-spirited adventures, hidden struggles, unforgettable characters, and the kind of mischief that could only belong to a very different, wilder era.Readers have called it a real-life Peter Pan story, one that captures a time before everything got complicated, filled with laughter, heartbreak, and moments so vivid you'll feel like you lived them too. It's hilarious in one chapter and quietly devastating in the next, always deeply, disarmingly human.'He's entirely genuine. the Real Deal,' writes one reader. Whether you lived through the era Roderick describes or are discovering it for the first time, Lazarus will make you laugh, make you think, and remind you just how precious, and strange, being alive really is.Perfect for readers of: true-life memoirs, near-death and second-chance stories, and honest, character-driven British autobiographies.Don't wait to find out how his story ends.
