A Very Good copy. Illustrated wraps (Softbound). Very EARLY reprint (Mid-Century), illustrated with over 800 b/w illustrations. Originally issued circa1946. Chiromancy - involves reading a person's palms to determine their destiny. Practiced all over the world for over a thousand years. Pages are clean and tight, no markings; only the prelims and the last page of text (to Appendix II and the last blank rear end-paper) are age-toned along margins. Several pages have shallow creases, which do not detract from text or illustrations. Exterior wraps have shallow creases overall (see photo) and corner tips creased/worn. Priced to reflect these blemishes 644 pages. Protected in a archival mylar slip.
