In this book, little children find pride in American history, heritage, and how the U.S. Constitution protects us. The Consitution has many rules that assure that the government is here to serve the people by guaranteeing freedoms, voting, directing our government officials in their duties, and allowing for change and progress. This book explains all those features of our government and is a fun and easy way to practice the alphabet with your little one. It also teaches kids to be active citizens through their voices and votes.
With an engaging collection of 26 illustrations, teachers and parents can use this book to teach about the U.S. Constitution, the function of our government, the protection it provides, and the diversity in our public officials. The children in the book come in all shapes, sizes, and skin tones, and the book carries a positive message about honoring America and our system of government.
