Paperback. Dieting shouldn't be so serious and humorless! Being obsessed with losing weight is a sure prescription for disaster. This fresh new book from artist and dieting realist Samara Q. Klein allows you to have fun while maintaining resolve. No matter what diet plan you follow, at some point you will find yourself at that dangerous place where you are being tested: No bread for another eleven days!?! How many points are eight pieces of sushi!?! That's where the sassy humor of Lite'N Up! steps in to provide just the right adage: Today is the first day of the rest of your hips. From observations about popular diets (It's a bit confusing but true: to have a French woman's body, you must not eat French toast, French bread, or French fries) to religious observations (The Eleventh Commandment: Thou shall not weigh more than thy refrigerator), Lite'N Up! is your best diet coach in a book. Includes bonus stickers that adhere to any tempting surface.Samara Q. Klein once lost forty pounds and never found them again. She now works as a senior manager of Clavis Media and moonlights as a humorist-winning the first New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest and writing humor for The Boston Globe. Her short stories have been published in the literary journals PIF and Release. A sense of humor runs in her family; she's also the daughter of best-selling author Daniel Klein (co-author of Plato and a Platypus Walk into a Bar). Lose weight without ever losing your sense of humor! The perfect companion to any diet plan.
