"The Latch Key of My BookHouse" serves as the essential companion and guidebook to the renowned "My BookHouse" series. Curated by Olive Beaupr Miller, this volume acts as a bridge between the world of childhood imagination and the practical needs of parents and educators. It provides a comprehensive index to the vast collection of stories and poems found throughout the series, allowing readers to navigate themes, authors, and historical periods with ease.

Beyond its utility as an index, the work contains fascinating biographical sketches of the poets and authors whose contributions fill the other volumes, offering insight into the lives behind the literature. It also outlines the pedagogical philosophy of the series, emphasizing the importance of high-quality literature in a child's moral and intellectual development. "The Latch Key of My BookHouse" remains a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of children's publishing and the art of storytelling as a tool for education. This volume ensures that the treasures within the collection are accessible and meaningful, providing the historical and literary context necessary to fully appreciate the global heritage of folklore, myth, and classic tales.
