BEYOND THE SHADOW, FISTS WILL SHATTER A GOD.
The feudal realm of Shogunate Prime is turning to ash. A twisted force, a god of raw fire and ancient power, is devouring the World Tree from within. As the castles burn and sacred blades are abandoned, a single figure stands at the precipice of the end.
His name is Alex, the Ascetic.
Trained in the forbidden disciplines of willpower and augmented martial prowess, Alex knows that ancient ways alone are no longer enough. He must do the unthinkable: cross the divide and embrace the heretical fusion of tradition and technology.
Stripping off his monk's robes for tactical gear and a lethal cybernetic arm, Alex integrates a sophisticated energy matrix directly into his mind and fist. Leaving behind the discarded blades of his past, he steps across the rift and into the rain-slicked, neon-hell of the corporate metropolis New Kyoto.
He is no longer just a warrior; he is a glitch in the code of reality. A weapon of pure, augmented defiance. In a world of chrome and corporate conspiracies, where empires like KIROSHI and MILITECH rule with an iron grip, Alex must hunt for a forgotten data protocol to save his home. He is [ALEX_THE_ASCETIC], and he is coming for the last save. But corporate empires will find that even their servers cannot contain a fist that can shatter a god.
