Paperback. In Whistwick, the weather is chosen by whoever wins the race. This is the seventh and final book. On Saturday morning, the weather cannot make up its mind. Snow that arrives warm. Thunder without cloud. A rainbow nobody can see. Wind going both directions on the same street. The sun bright and cold and doubled and gone in rotating intervals. Not one instrument failing but all of them, losing their calibration against each other in a cascade that is getting faster by the hour. Beneath the Weather Wheel platform, deeper than any previous chamber, where all the channels from all five instruments converge, is the room the whole system was built around. It has two final instruments. And it was always designed for a group. Casey has been in all the previous rooms. Milo knows what the town needs and how it feels. Petra can reach the things that need reaching. Odette has the records of everything that has ever been found. And Bex has been drawing every weather state in Whistwick for three years without knowing why, which turns out to be exactly the kind of record the final instrument requires. The system was built for all five of them. It just took seven books to find out. The final book in the Whistwick Series. A fully illustrated adventure for readers aged 6-10 who have followed Casey since the accidental blizzard and are ready for the last race. Funny, warm, and considerably deeper than it looks. Like everything in Whistwick. The Whistwick Series: Book Seven This item is printed on demand.
