A Christmas Classic Your Children Will Read to Their Own
Destined to be a Christmas classic, The Last Magi is the story of Artaban, the fourth Wise Man, who leaves his betrothed, the beautiful Rasha, to follow his fellow Magi to Bethlehem. Arriving too late, he sets out to find the child born under the star. Years pass as Artaban chases wisps and rumors across two continents. Weary and impoverished, the last Magi refuses to quit his quest, even as time is running out.
A 95% Amazon 5-Star favorite, reviewers agree The Last Magi is:
“… an epic quest for the greatest treasure of all”
“… an old-fashioned tale with a fearless hero, a funny sidekick and an impossible mission”
“… a story that makes you laugh and rejoice and even cry a little”
This Christmas, give a gift your favorite young reader will never outgrow.
Lifted me up!
I honestly felt that I was a constant & very close
onlooker in this story ! I could feel the sand swirling
around me, it's grit in my mouth. Each story told by
another traveler kept me alert, anxious, and excited
! With each experience the Magi had....the author
made me feel that I was one with the characters . I
was a character! Weather it be a suffering animal
eager to please my master. Or a man drinking and
playing games with other men . And believe me these
are not activities that I would be an eager participant
! Ugh and the raw oder of men was thick and real !
This story was REAL and I will miss watching and
playing my part !!!

Destined To Become a Christmas Classic
My daughter was given this book by a friend, but
before she could even read it, I snatched it up because
I love fictionalized stories from the Bible. The
Last Magi tells the story of the last Magi to see Jesus
but in a twist not to give too much away, this Magi,
Artaban, sees Jesus much later after the famous
birth in a stable. But along the way, Artaban demonstrates
the very human need to finish a quest, seek
forgiveness, rise up after falling down, embrace the
challenge of faith, and to love until one's dying day.
The tale is both adventure and tender reflection. Yes,
it is perfect for children, but it is also perfect for
adults, too. Sorry kids, there are no pictures, but like
all good stories, the narrator takes the reader into
the desert revealing its hardships and beauty. I hope
this book sells really well and becomes a Christmas
(and Easter) classic

Full of Wisdom
This little book is full of more wisdom and soul than
many thousand-page novels. It cuts to the chase and
never lets you go. It is an absolutely absorbing account
of a little-known event in the time of Christ, told
with humor and dignity. He follows after Jesus to give
him his gifts but keeps missing Him. At last he finds
Him but he doesn’t have any gifts. Then Jesus gets
him to see that the greatest gift is the gift of love. This
is a liberating book that made me want to stand up
and sing. The other thing I want to say is that it is
really a fun read.

Made me cry, made me laugh.
What I enjoyed most about this book was its sense of
humor. Everyone in old time Christmas stories is
so solemn and serious. Didn’t they ever crack a smile?
The humorist in this account is a disreputable, untrustworthy
liar named Ismail. He becomes the Magi’s
servant and undergoes a transformation but he never
lets go of his sense of humor. This is a serious book
about a serious subject but it never never takes itself
too seriously. I like that.

Awesome
This book is awesome. So many times in life people
say give up, what’s the point, you’ll never do it. Artaban
never gives up. I admire that. He has a job to do
and he keeps at it even though people call him crazy.
It doesn’t matter what they think. Don’t give up. Don’t
take the easy way. So even thow it’s about things that
happened 2000 years ago some things don’t change.
Be strong.
