An impossible Templar relic. A secret buried for seven centuries. Three unlikely heroes racing to uncover it.Fernando Gamboa is Spain's #1 bestselling action and adventure author, and the Ulysses Vidal series has sold over 800,000 copies worldwide. THE LAST CRYPT is where it all begins.Off the coast of Utila, Honduras, diver Ulysses Vidal pulls a 14th-century bronze bell of Templar origin from the seafloor. There is just one problem: it sank there more than a century before Columbus reached America. That single discovery defies everything we know about history, and it points to a past that someone has worked very hard to keep hidden.Ulysses never goes looking for trouble; trouble has a way of finding him. Alongside Eduardo, a history professor far happier in a library than in the field, and Cassandra, a marine archaeologist with a force-of-nature personality and no patience for the word impossible, he follows the trail from the Caribbean to Spain, across the Sahara, and into the jungles of Mexico. The prize is more than the lost treasure of the Knights Templar. It is a secret that could rewrite the history of humankind, and our place in the universe. But what sets this adventure apart is not the riddles or the enemies closing in. It is the three antiheroes at its heart, who meet every danger with wit, nerve and humor.Fast-paced, full of unexpected turns and capped by an ending few readers see coming, THE LAST CRYPT is a modern pulp adventure in the tradition of Clive Cussler, Dan Brown, Steve Berry and James Rollins. What readers are sayingA little bit of everything: history, romance, action.
