Join Blake Langford and his colleagues in four new short stories that complement the novel series; The Blake Langford Adventures.
Guest List
Special Branch agent Blake Langford is drawn into a bizarre case when an Elvis Presley tribute artist is accused of murdering his promoter.
The investigation leads Blake and his team to the USA and reveals a sinister connection to an entertainment manager based in Branson, Missouri, orchestrating chaos in the world of tribute artists.
As the team digs deeper, they discover rogue showbiz agents are manipulating the success of these performers, turning them into unwitting pawns in a deadly game which is set to come to a climax at the anniversary concert in Memphis Tennessee.
Seven Signs
When a cryptic series of seven symbols begin appearing across Portsmouth, etched into walls, scrawled on abandoned vehicles and even tattooed onto a murder victim, Special Branch Agent, Blake Langford is called in by DCI Heather Fordingbridge to unravel the mystery before it spirals into chaos.
Alongside his colleague, Samir Khalifa, they uncover a chilling connection, each sign corresponds to an escalating act of sabotage threatening national security.
As the investigation deepens, Blake turns to an old friend, Ben Broughton, a former intelligence analyst turned civilian and his wife Jade, a linguist with a shadowy past.
With time running out, Blake must confront a haunting truth: the mastermind behind the signs is someone he once trusted, forcing him to weigh duty against betrayal. In a race against the final sign's deadly promise, can Blake unravel the connection and protect the people of Portsmouth in time?
Persuade Me
When Special Branch Agent Joe Knight learns that his daughter Carla, has vanished after a devastating car accident on the M40 motorway near Banbury, he races to the scene, only to find her vehicle mangled beyond recognition and no trace of her.
As panic sets in, a cryptic call reaches Blake Langford, Joe's colleague in London, from a young woman claiming to hold the key to Carla's whereabouts. Her price? Safe passage to the USA.
With time slipping away, Joe must unravel a web of secrets to find his daughter whilst Blake weighs up the cost of a deal that could change everything.
In My Father's Footsteps
When Special Branch Agent Blake Langford retreats to his holiday home near Lepe Beach, a visit to the quaint church in Fawley Village takes a chilling turn. The local vicar, Ernest Lowe, presents him with an urn inscribed with his father's name, ashes Blake believed were scattered years ago.
Bewildered, Blake takes the urn and heads home, leaving it in his car. Minutes later, a deafening explosion obliterates both the vehicle and the urn. Shaken, Blake returns to the church seeking answers, only to be met by a new vicar who claims Ernest Lowe has been dead for 40 years. As the past ignites in ways he never imagined, Blake must confront a mystery tied to his father's legacy and his own survival.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
