Drawing on front cover shows a farmer and his wife in despair as a figure, representing death, looms over their farm in the background. Landvolk in Not. Wer hilft? Adolf Hitler! translates to: Farmers in despair. Who can help? Adolf Hitler! Scarce National Socialist pamphlet for the 1932 German Landtagswahlen (state parliament elections), which were held on April 24, 1932 in Württemberg, Prussia and Bavaria. This pamphlet was published for the voters in Württemberg. The Nazis won the majority of seats. The election took place two weeks after the second Reichspräsidentenwahl in which Paul von Hindenburg won 49,6% of the votes ahead of Hitler (30%). Pamphlet appeals to German farmers that the only way out of the depression and economic crisis is Adolf Hitler. Text in German, gothic script. Age wear, sunning and some creasing on wraps. Vertical crease on pamphlet affecting pages throughout. Lower part of rear wrapper near spine slightly chipped. Overall fair to good condition. Scarce.
