A Bond Stronger than Life Itself.
Tev makes a desperate attempt to write a wrong: Aya, unjustly sentenced to exile in the Lands of Dark – a cursed land no soul ever returns. Pleas to the merciless Minister fall on deaf ears, and the pair are dragged into the all-consuming Divide of the Lands of Dark, like animals taken to slaughter.
In a land where nightmares roam and hope withers, Tev and Aya refuse to give up. Armed with a stolen book said to hold the key to Orta–a doorway back to the Lands of Light–they embark on a harrowing journey. Their only protection against the evils lurking in the darkness is a glowing crystal, its light flickering in the rhythm with the unbreakable bond they share.
The path ahead is fraught with torment, their resolve tested at every turn. Yet their bond, forged over lifetimes, burns brighter than the despair around them. To escape the forsaken Lands of Dark, they must dace horrors that threaten not just their lives but their very souls.
Will their connection prove strong enough to defy the impossible? Or will the Lands of Dark consume even the light of a love that transcends eternity?
From the Back Cover
Tev believed Aya did not actually want to end her life, everyone wants to live, it is embedded in one’s soul. People want a better life, to escape the pain and the hurt. It is easy to forget everything passes, even the tough times. She needed a friend and Tev would be just that.
Unjustly exiled by a powerful Minister to the strange, all-consuming Lands of Dark, the girl, Aya tells Tev of a way out of the lands, derived from the stolen Book of Laws.
They venture to find the landmarks stated in the book, which will lead them to Orta—a doorway back to the Lands of Light. Keeping the evils of the land at bay with a glowing crystal—its light strengthened by their bond, a bond stronger than life itself.
