Although they encounter enemies at every turn, David and Abner find a few loyal friends as they embark on exhilarating adventures. Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950) is the legendary author of dozens of novels, including Tarzan of the Apes, The Land That Time Forgot, and Beyond Thirty, the latter two available in Bison Books editions. Anne Harris is the award-winning author of The Nature of Smoke, Accidental Creatures, and Inventing Memory, provides an introduction to this Bison Books edition.…
