Erano i giorni della fiera, che si trovava a due passi dall’appartamento. Il traffico ed i suoi rumori impazzavano di sotto, vita, impazienza, nervosismo, risate arrivavano fino al terzo piano. Ma loro due non lo sentivano. Angelina concentrata sulla sua dannata musica, lui perch� non esisteva al mondo niente altro che quella ragazzina dal fascino petulante, dai lunghi capelli neri e ricci.

Si alz�, indossava un vestitino corto che le lasciava scoperte gambe e spalle, non indossava il reggiseno, con un rapido movimento sciolse i capelli, rote� la testa e questi le cascarono intorno e sulle spalle come una bottiglia di china rotta.

Cominci� a muoversi lasciandosi trasportare dal ritmo, avanti e indietro, come un onda, i fianchi che si muovono davano l’impressione che fosse capace di dominarlo quel ritmo. Padrona di quell’impulso, di quella danza che d’improvviso non rappresenta pi� niente di falso, di taciuto, di vile o meschino. Le braccia che si muovono sulla testa come seguendo un altro ritmo, un sorriso immobile, pensiero di belle cose, di provocazione, di offerta. Un sorriso che non appariva pi� suo ma della musica stessa.

Un sorriso dato dalla capacit� di vivere il presente. Angelina non si proiettava mai verso il futuro. La sua frase preferita era: “si vedr�”. Viveva intensamente il presente. Ed era fra le cose che pi� amava di lei Filippo. Questa capacit� di annullare ogni tipo di congettura.

Lui la osserva, lei con il suo vestitino lill�, le piccole tettine, il suo ondeggiare ed � sicuro che non ha mai visto niente di pi� bello e desiderabile.

Ascolta anche la musica e nel motivo popolaresco semplice ma ricco di tradizioni secolari, trova racchiuso un confuso presentimento di cose che avverranno, perch� in fondo la musica � solo questo: rimpianto del passato e speranza del futuro.

In quel momento lui sta vivendo la disperazione dell’oggi, fatta dal rimpianto del passato e dalla speranza del domani. Fuori da questo la musica non c’�, la poesia non esiste.

A questo pensiero Filippo, circa il rimpianto del passato legato alla musica, ricorda gli anni della Somalia. Un giorno particolarmente gli sovviene; quando durante un cruento combattimento, persero la vita decine di suoi connazionali e centinaia di uomini e donne e bambini somali. Ricorda la mestizia con cui il Reggimento fece ritorno al campo.

Nessuno parlava e regnava un silenzio pieno ed ingombrante. A un certo punto, mentre tutti erano chiusi nelle proprie tende o container, un Sergente Maggiore prese il suo clarinetto e lo port� alle labbra. Le note si levarono in quella notte di sangue. Note lugubri e celesti al tempo stesso. Note potenti che scendevano fino ai pi� profondi recessi, per poi lanciarsi all’infinito.

Quelle note ebbero il potere di restituire dignit� a tutti loro. Nonostante tutto.
Per quanto avessero dovuto vivere quanto vissuto, in quel momento vivevano una carezza di assoluto. Non meritata, certo, ma non per questo non accolta con speranza.
La musica li univa in una tela fatta di migliaia di lacrime invisibili e per un attimo si sentirono una cosa sola.

Right of withdrawal

Statutory right to withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Ria Christie Collections, Uxbridge, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
