Add to basketUndated. Likely 1881-86 based on street address. An old British non-fiction book for children. Age-toned pages. Binding shaken with front cover cracked at the hinge and holding by 2" section of cloth. Back hinge also cracked. All cover edges worn with a 1/4" section of head of spine missing. Several horizontal closed tears to spine. Covers and edges darkened. Debossed cover with sweet depiction of children at study. Several smudges on front and back pages that do not detract from text. Otherwise , the book is clean and generally unmarked. Book is divided into two sections. First section-"Things To Do Indoors". Several pages have had illustrations cut away -pp 77-80; p153. In the second section,-"Things To Do Outdoors" , p3 removed; p27 and 57-60 partially cut away. Otherwise, the book is clean and generally unmarked. States " Over one thousand illustrations of how to do things". Both sections-160 pp. each. Answers the question "Where were the first Mulberry trees planted in England?".
