Add to basketRose was supposed to hate him. Xavier was the man who had ruined her life, the cold, ruthless mafia leader responsible for her family's murder. Her plan was simple: make him fall for her, betray him, and watch his empire crumble. But nothing about Xavier was simple. She should run, but it was too late. She was falling for the man she came to destroy. When revenge and desire collide, the price of betrayal might just be her heart-and her life.
"That's it, moan my name like a fucking whore" he growls. "Oh my" she screams as she grips his hair as now he is licking it in most perfect way. She is now too close and Xavier nows it but he keeps sucking her harder. She rolls her eyee and arch her back as she release and Xavier taste all of it like he has been waiting for this. ............. "I know what you're hiding," he growled one night, pinning her against the wall. "And when I find out the truth, Rose, you'll wish you never stepped into my world." He wraps her throat with his one hand and caressing her thighs with another while smirking.
The rain poured relentlessly, washing the blood off the cobblestones like a cruel attempt to erase the nightmare.
Rose stood frozen in the middle of the street, her trembling hands clutching the locket her mother had given her just that morning. It was the only thing left.
Her family was gone.
The house she grew up in was engulfed in flames, the acrid smoke rising like a sinister flag.
Men in suits had stormed in just an hour ago, armed with guns and orders. She had hidden in the cellar, her father's desperate last words urging her to stay silent.
"Don't come out, Rose. No matter what you hear."
She had obeyed. She'd heard the gunshots, her mother's screams, her brother's cries. And now, she was alone.
When the chaos subsided, she slipped out of the cellar, only to find her world in ruins.
Among the black SUVs pulling away, one figure had stood out-a tall, commanding man with dark eyes that glimmered in the firelight.
He lit a cigarette, his expression cold, detached, as if this massacre was nothing more than another task checked off his list.
Xavier. The name haunted her.
She didn't know why or how, but everyone whispered about him in fear.
He was the shadow lurking in the city, the one who decided who lived and who died.
Rose's knees buckled as grief and anger consumed her.
She couldn't cry. Not now. Her tears would come later-after she had avenged her family.
