Rodrigo García, autor de Cenizas escogidas, Barullo y otros títulos que venimos publicando desde 2005, lanza a la yugular dos historias con su mordiente, dos historias recíprocas, ilustradas por ATA y vinculadas por un mismo nexo: ¿Y si un virus además atacara al lenguaje, a nuestra forma de expresarnos? Es decir, un léxico que, según pasa el tiempo, va haciéndose radioactivo, insertándose no sólo en las vías respiratorias sino también en el habla. O como leemos en el primer relato: "Que las mascarillas desvirtúen nuestras palabras y consigamos poesía de carambola, por la torpe e incómoda pronunciación, por falta de oxígeno en el cerebro o por el atasco de la enunciación en el tejido de cada bozal. [. . . ] Sometidos nuestros pensamientos a tal despótica uniformidad, la herencia que recibirán los críos que acaban de soltar la teta de sus madres será un vocabulario sulfúrico. Un léxico radioactivo. Dos guerras mundiales, las guerras napoleónicas, las conquistas de Alejandro de Macedonia duraron menos ?la de ahora no ha hecho más que empezar? y quitaron la vida a no tantos seres humanos". En la segunda historia, de título kilométrico, Rodrigo García ubica la acción en uno de sus lugares predilectos, y con razón, pues: "No hay edificio vacío de mitos, no hay piedra carente de fantasía; en su descripción de la región de Élide leemos dónde Alfeo se enamoró de Ártemis o dónde se encuentra la casa que los sacerdotes sellan con rocas luego de dejar varias vasijas vacías en su interior, ánforas que más tarde aparecerán rebosantes de vino, en las fiestas de Dionisio. About the Author
ATA es el seudónimo de Juan Lasalle, ex director creativo y fundador de La agencia de publicidad que tiene por nombre Kitchen. ATA mantuvo la doble vida del típico superhéroe durante más de 15 años, publicitario de día, comiquero de noche. Pero hace unos años, cambió los anuncios por los espárragos y se fue a vivir a mitad de ninguna parte, con poca cobertura pero mucha vida. Es decir, que se instala con su familia en Llubí (Mallorca) en el año 2008. Desde allí continua con su colaboración mensual en TMEO, que comenzó hace más de 25 años. También publica sus viñetas de humor salvaje en revistas como El Jueves o Mongolia. Su trazo evoluciona de “línea chunga” a “línea finolis” sin alejarse un ápice del underground. En este sentido es destacable la publicación de En la cocina. Dibujando (Blur, 2008), un cuadernito que reúne páginas de sus cuadernos de bocetos, con el atractivo estilo “rallado” que caracteriza su trabajo reciente. Paralelamente a su viñetas humorísticas, realiza ilustraciones para revistas como GQ, Visual o Cáñamo. En el año 2012 funda la editorial Autsaider Comics, con la intención de dar a conocer a autores del underground internacional no publicados en España, como el americano Kaz o Herr Seele, autor de Cowboy Henk; también a autores nacionales, en la misma línea, que nadie debería perderse, como Furillo o José Tomás. Habría que destacar la original colección de “cajas de color” en edición limitada, que agrupan mini-cómics temáticos, por la que está haciendo pasar desde a los más jóvenes a los pesos pesados del cómic independiente. Como dibujante, dice tener dos vertientes una de “humor guarro”, publicando en el citado El Jueves, Monográfico, el TMEO o La Kurda, y otra “finolis” más editorial, que vende al mejor postor.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to AG Library, Malaga, Málaga, Spain, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
