Third printing (first published March 1928). 288 pages. Hardcover: H 22.25cm x L 14.5cm. Lacks dust jacket. Red cloth soiled; light bumping and minor wear at spine ends; short slender stain at top edge of each board. Foxing to edges and endpapers; past bookseller's erased pencil notations still evident at front free endpaper's top right corner; interior pages are clean. Binding stressed at page 97 with some surface paper tearing along rear hinge but binding remains firm. A good+ copy. With Preface by Arthur Stanley, Author's Preface, nineteen b/w plates on eight unpaged leaves including frontispiece portrait, and concluding commemorative essay "Sir Henry Segrave . . . The Final Chapter" by J. Wentworth Day.
