Publisher: LSU Office of Publications, Baton Rouge
Publication Date: 1978
Binding: Soft Cover, Stapled
Book Condition: Good
Dust Jacket Condition: Paper Wraps

Beige illustrated wraps with titles in orange to front panel, price of $1.00 printed at top right; map of Burden Research Plantation on rear panel. An interesting description of the Rural Life Museum designed by Steele Burden and donated to LSU by the Burden family. Includes descriptions of various collections and outbuildings, illustrated with B&W photos and drawings. There is some yellow highlighting to most pages, as well as penciled notes by previous owner. Front panel has some crimping to corners. Stapled binding is tight. Publication date not stated, but this appears to have been printed in 1978, when both Ione Burden (1896-1983) and Steele Burden (1900-95) were on the advisory board listed on the rear panel. This has both nostalgic and historic interest, as the layout of the museum has changed radically since it was published. 12 pages, unpaginated. A scarce piece of Baton Rouge and Louisiana ephemera. We ship the same day or next business day after order is received. We pack carefully, with moisture protection, bubble wrap, and a cardboard "sandwich" to protect every book and ensure it arrives undamaged. Size: 9 x 6". Bookseller Inventory # 001975
