This English-language edition with William James' introduction was first published in 1904. Spine lettering effaced, owner name ("King Fisher, San Francisco") on front free endpaper else very good in very good jacket.

Store description

We had our open bookshop in the town of Sonoma for a total of 17 years, including 9 years at our East Napa St. location, however, as of April 13, 2013 we have closed our doors. Our business is now conducted online, by appointment, and occasionally at antiquarian bookfairs at which we exhibit annually. Chanticleer Books is a sole-proprietorship owned and operated by Steve Blackmer, a full-time bookseller since 1985 and member of the Antiquarian Booksellers¿ Association of America (ABAA) from 1998 to 2026
