Green cloth over boards with gilt particulars and two gilt bands to spine and debossed rule to boards. Previous owner's signature to front flyleaf, light scattered foxing and soiling to margins of a few pages throughout, and tanning to margins of pages throughout; volumes one and two have previous owner's signature to top edge of title page. Text block is sunned with light foxing to lower edge, heavy foxing to fore edge, and top edge might have once been sprayed brown, but is heavily faded. Light scattered soiling to endpages, rectangular shadowing to front pastedown likely from a previous bookplate, and closed tear to top edge of first free endpaper at volume one. Boards have soiling and sunning concentrated at edges and along spine, rubbing, bumping and creasing to edges, corners and ends of spine, and yellow scuff marks to rear board of volume one. Binding is sound, spine is slightly cocked. Front inner hinge of all volumes and rear inner hinge of volume three cracked, but still hold. Seller Inventory # 62191
