Identical to the first trade impression ( see above) but for Brady's illustration showing a bearded, top hatted man standing back to back with a more bohemian type in a soft hat and cravat. A confessional novel of Teutonic homosexuality based on a fictional diary and supposedly a roman-a?-clef. The title translates better as ?Substitute Love' perhaps.
