FIRST TRADE EDITION. 8vo. 9 x 6.25 inches. [6] + v + [i] + 54 pp. Bound in original cream cloth, gilt. A fine copy. Loosely inserted: copy of letter no. 13, 4p. Signed 2004 by Gay Doggart, daughter of Ken, who held the letters. Illustrated by photographic portrait frontispiece and by facsimiles of letters. Thirty seven previously unknown letters, written by Robert Graves to fellow convalescent army officer, Wilfred Kenyon Tufnell Barrett, between 1917 and 61. The Letters were held by Ken's daughter, Mrs Gay Doggart and have been edited by Harvey Sarner, Graves scholar and author. The letters include some interesting comments on T. E. Lawrence.
