Bringing us this captivating prehistory is a reluctant psychic, a former Navy and commercial airline pilot who journeys through time to the predecessors of his own Basque heritage. With the aid of his partner, a hypnotherapist, he walks unseen among his ancestors and unearths a genetic treasure trove, a wealth of startling, intimate details about the lives of real people.
The result is Discovery, Book One of the nonfiction series, Legacy.
We are introduced to Medicine Women Mahayla and Brana who call to the departed in the secret language of Spirits and use sound healing and mind-altering ceremonial teas in their ritual circles. Brana’s mate, Cairn, commands the primitive hunters, battling predators and overpowering the great mammoths with ingenuity and innovative weapons.
We follow Brana and Cairn as they shepherd this heroic band of ancients through crises, treacherous migrations and a personal tragedy before leadership is quietly handed over to the next generation.
Discovery traces the true stories to a surprise ending. Framed by the authors’ own discovery process, the thrilling adventures throw open a window into prehistory and trigger questions about our modern world, the people we have become.
