Development prospectus. Small 4to (24 cm). 12-panel brochure, two with a layout of lots on Madison Avenue, between Lassiter and Vickers, four illustrated from 27 photographs of existing nearby large homes, similar to those expected for Lee Place, 5 with promotional text for the development, illustrated from photographs of downtown business buildings, and the front wrapper, illustrated from a tall bronze statue of Robert E. Lee [dedicated in 1908] that would stand at the entrance. Original illustrated wrappers (some insect damage along outer edge, a little more at spine, the latter taking portions of two letters verso). Gold copy of a rare residential development prospectus.
