A presentation copy, inscribed "Presented by the Congress" above the Harvard College bookplate. The second volume of Folwell's three-volume edition of the laws of the fledgling United States. This volume prints the acts of both sessions of the second Congress, treaties with Sweden, Prussia, Morocco, Spain, and numerous Indian tribes, and the "Armistice Declaring a Cessation of Hostilities Between the United States and Great-Britain."
