This 291 pp. indexed book is a very scholarly treatment of the fascinating life of the legendary Kentucky firebrand, with 30 pages of reference notes & index, at the rear. There are 2 prior owner's names atop the first blank flyleaf, but otherwise the book is unmarked and NEAR FINE. The DUST JACKET shows slight top edge wear with a small 1/4" slit at the top of the spine edge, else VERY GOOD. LISTS TO $236 ONLINE AND NONE MENTION A DUST JACKET !! -- THE PHOTO IS A STOCK IMAGE -- NOT A PHOTO OF THIS COPY !.
