Item description from seller

Solid light gray SOFT COVER, 5 1/4 by 7 3/4 in., with blue spine, with fairly mild wear and some soiling. 182pp. In Italian language. This undated issue is book 1 of a three book series by this popular Italian novelist who wrote in first half of 20th century. Lovely line drawings illustrate the story along with 4 beautiful color plates. FOR 038356 LOC A lovely copy of a SCARCE children's book with delightful illustrations. My lack of knowledge of Italian leads me to guess this is a reprint edition, designed for middle grades in elementary school. Author even added music, at the back of the book, to accompany some songs from the text. We have bagged the book to prevent further damage, like the creased front corner and will ship wrapped in butcher paper, between two stiff cardboards in padded envelope. SCANS available upon request.
