New edition by N Barreme (1687-1756) of the work of his father Francois Barreme(1638-1703), mathematician and bookkeeper. The son made his own name in mercantile computation, with many editions of his own work extending through the end of the 18th C (listed in the advertisement at the rear of the current volume).
