Gerri writes farewell letters to everyone she knows and does not exactly squeamish with the truth. Only stupidly, it does not work with the sleeping pills and the vodka - and Gerris's life becomes really exciting from one day to the other. Because it is such a thing to get along with your fellow people when they know what you really think of them... - Kerstin Gier has created an incredibly sympathetic protagonist with Gerri and accomplished the feat of packing a very serious topic with respect and a lot of humour into an extremely entertaining story.
