Depuis Jacob Burckhardt, les historiens ont plac� la Renaissance sous le signe de l’affirmation de l’individu. Afin de renouveler l’approche des �critures de soi � l’aube de la modernit�, les contributrices et les contributeurs de ce volume ont choisi de laisser un temps de c�t� les genres plus � canoniques � que sont les m�moires, l’autobiographie ou le journal, pour se pencher sur des textes et des corpus moins cartographi�s, comme les commentaires �rudits, les r�cits de voyage, les r�cits de captivit�, les r�cits de cure ou de convalescence, les correspondances, les �crits professionnels, les archives judiciaires, ou encore les �p�tres en vers, les �l�gies ou la po�sie g�n�thliaque (qui c�l�bre les naissances), en fran�ais et en latin. En marge des genres constitu�s s’invente alors une nouvelle parole sur soi, dont la forme souvent fragmentaire et interstitielle n’enl�ve rien � l’�nergie ou � l’expressivit�.

V�ronique Ferrer est professeure en litt�rature � l’Universit� Paris Nanterre. Ses recherches abordent les rapports entre Bible et litt�rature, le p�trarquisme, Agrippa d’Aubign� et le discours historiographique sur la Renaissance. Derniers ouvrages parus : Le Printemps d’Agrippa d’Aubign�, 2019, et L’Amoureuse rage. Agrippa d’Aubign� po�te profane, 2022.

Alexandre Tarr�te est ma�tre de conf�rences en litt�rature � Sorbonne Universit�. Ses enseignements et travaux de recherche portent sur la litt�rature et la philosophie � la Renaissance, sur les moralistes du XVIe si�cle (La Bo�tie, Montaigne, Charron), sur l’�loquence (Du Vair, Du Perron, Desportes), la pol�mique (Ronsard), les relations entre litt�rature, philosophie, politique et sciences humaines. Il a publi� notamment une �dition des Essais de Montaigne (2009).

Paul-Victor Desarbres est ma�tre de conf�rences en litt�rature � Sorbonne Universit�. Ses travaux portent sur la litt�rature du XVIe si�cle, sur Blaise de Vigen�re (La Plume et le Lys. Carri�re, publication et service de la politique royale chez Blaise de Vigen�re [1523-1596]), sur les rapports entre litt�rature et politique, � travers les arts, la traduction et certains textes kabbalistiques. Il traduit la litt�rature hongroise (Gyula Kr�dy, Le Coq de Madame Cl�ophas, 2013).

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
