A world where magic is an everyday yet dangerous part of life and too much of it can kill you. Mages have developed devices called Magic Collectors to keep the Ambient Magical Density (AMD) from reaching deadly levels in populated areas. Every major city has at least one. Among the dangers of magical arrow flights still zooming about the atmosphere from ancient wars, and monsters forming in the wild areas where the AMD is high, rose the necessity of Warlock Pacts.Kyle is the most average everyday apprentice warlock one could ever be. As an Apprentice Warlock of the Archivist, the living magical embodiment of the collection and preservation of knowledge, Kyle is ubiquitously qualified for his position as an intern at The National Museum of Unnatural Science and History. Someday, he hopes to be made one of the renown Curators of the museum.
