Menso Alting (1541-1612) was a Calvinist divine, educated at Heidelberg. He worked at first in the Palatinate (after 1566) and 1574-1612 as preacher in Emden, where he promoted the spread of Calvinism at the cost of Lutheranism and Anabaptism.
