About the Author: An Alabama native, I graduated from David Lipscomb College and Baptist Hospital School of Medical Technology in Nashville, Tennessee. Being a Christian wife, mother, grandmother, friend, medical technologist, artist, seamstress, creative cook, letter writer, gardener, and (when I have time) an avid reader, I thank God for the gift of writing. Poetry has been a love of mine forever, my first poem being written at fourteen. Poetry for me is like light shining through trees.
