An extensive guide to the practice of agriculture in the early modern era of Meiji Japan. Largely text, but illustrated throughout in woodcut, some of which in each volume are skillfully colored. Near fine condition. Unusual and important work. Miyazaki Ryujo had also produced such importantlandmarks of modern learning as the Shintei Nihon yochi zenzu of 1878. Complete.
