Knitting is a relaxing and therapeutic pastime. Knit Yourself Calm uses this winning combination to offer mindfulness techniques and fun knitting projects to help you reduce stress. Though aimed at both beginners and advanced knitters, the book focuses on basics knit and purl stitches, increasing, decreasing, and some simple colourwork.
After covering essential techniques, author Lynne Rowe shares mindful knitting projects in 5 sections. Each section offers a different way of promoting calm:

- Portable Projects for managing stress on the go, perfect for commutes, work breaks, and travel days
- Group Projects for when you want to knit with friends and enjoy some mood-boosting fun, play, and laughter
- Big Projects for when you need a constant companion to whom you can turn for calm, consistency, and a soothing rhythm.
- New Skills – from different stitch patterns, colours, or textures – for nurturing a healthy brain, growth, and creativity.
Whatever your skill level, there are plenty of projects here to help you achieve calm, manage stress, and enjoy a fun, creative pastime that produces beautiful projects for yourself, your loved ones, or your home!
