Full dark brown pin-grain morocco leather over boards; covers gilt stamped with outer single rule frame enclosing blind stamped inner frame with gilt stamped fleurons at each corner; 5 raised bands on spine with gilt panel frames and titles; all edges richly gilt; turn-ins gilt stamped with fleuron rolls; pseudo marble end papers in browns with red or green. All spines are gilt stamped at spine tails ''The | H.H. Baxter | Memorial | Library'; under this is gilt stamped 'London'. Most volume covers are bright and clean, a few with scuff marks - 1 vol with pronounce scrape, but still VG and attractive; all spines are bright and clean; leather is sound and supple; all volumes are tightly bound. All interiors are bright and clean. Novels included: 'Yeast', 'Hypatia' (2 vols), 'Westward Ho!' (2 vols), 'Two Years Ago' (2 vols), 'Alton Locke' (2 vols), 'Hereward The Wake' (2 vols).
