Neuware - WARNING: This book contains highly delicious descriptions of baked goods. It will likely cause intense sweet cravings! (Just remember to brush your teeth afterward!) The King is grumpy, picky, and entirely tired of extravagant, towering pastries. Nothing in the royal bakery is quite right, and his bad mood is bringing down the whole castle! Enter the King's cook, a loyal guard named Karl, and a very good, silly dog named Knuckles. When the cook decides to bake a simple, perfect sugar cake to cheer up the fussy King, it turns out to be the most magnificent thing His Majesty has ever tasted! But what is the mysterious secret ingredient (Hint: It isn't extra frosting, and you can't buy it in a store!) With bouncy, expressive rhymes and a heartwarming twist, The King's Cook and the Sugar Cake is a deliciously delightful read-aloud that will have your little ones giggling. It gently teaches young readers that the best things in life-and the best treats-are made with love and meant to be shared with the whole village. Perfect for: - Bedtime Reading: Full of laughs, fun rhythm, and silly character voices.- Little Bakers: Ideal for kids who love spending time in the kitchen and exploring sweet treats.- Social-Emotional Learning: A sweet gift to teach early childhood themes of kindness, generosity, and community.…
