These personal testaments show readers how faith in Him has impacted and changed lives. In December of 2014, Lindsay Schuling Cooper made a New Years resolution to read the Bible from beginning to end starting in January of 2015. Her eagerness to read daily turned into pure joy. In February she prayed to God, Lord, use me to do your works. This prayer was prayed often and soon Lindsay was given her assignment from God. In June of 2015, Lindsay began interviewing people and asking them two questions: What can you say about God? and How has He changed your life/worked in your life? She planned on interviewing 50 people. Instead, God had 120 people in mind for her to interview all within the time frame of three months. Lindsay started out in her comfort zone, but God led her elsewhere. She went to shelters, jails, local churches and met with many strangers. She compiled their testaments into Kindred Faith to share with readers the stories of Gods people and show them that faith and trust in God will impact their lives.
