Covering the range of experiences a Christian faces, from dark nights of the soul to moments of exquisite joy, renowned spiritual writer and minister Dwight Edwards presents inspiration for the moment based on timeless scripture in Kindling for the Fire: Meditations to Warm the Heart and Ignite the Spirit. His warming words cover topics from abandonment and brokenness to the Christian life, contentment, and eventually gratitude, worship, and joy. He illustrates succinctly and powerfully that God can speak to us with warming words, no matter what our current circumstances are. Each short devotional offers scripture, interpretation, and encouragement, and each will be read, reread, and cherished at different times in the reader's journey.
