Add to basketThis book is my kind of insight into the beauty of everyday life; all words come from my heart and are only meant to reach yours-nothing more than that. The poems are simple and may bring along some kind of peace and understanding of the bigger picture of life.
Every one of us has our own way of communicating to the Higher Self-if it is through poetry, music, painting, dancing, peace-making, or simply by being an example of kindness and love to others.
A Kind of Insight is a result of this communication. The poems come to me through the grace of God and they are an expression of the beauty and joy in everyone and everything that surrounds me, along with my insight on how to uncover the beauty and joy in ourselves.
Oana Andrei Paval was born in Bārlad, Romania during the communist regime, when practising religion was banned. She attended church with her great-grandmother, who raised her until the age of twelve. She studied mathematics and information technology but was a passionate reader and started to write from a young age and has appeared in numerous publications. She is a member of poetry clubs and has published two poetry books under the guidance of her father, Petrus Andrei, a very well known author in her country.
Her books are part of a trilogy-the first one, The Kiss of the Rainbow (2008), is a collection of love poems written in her teenage years. The second book, The Kiss of the Sea (2014), is the first part of a newer collection of love and inspirational poetry to be followed by The Kiss of the Sky, which will be launched in the summer of 2016.
Oana has lived in Canada since 1998 with her husband Viorel Paval and two children, Viviana and Victor. She continues her career in an analytical field while also finding inspiration to write in the beauty of everyday life. A Kind of Insight is the author's way of sharing with the entire world some of the answers she'd been searching for when her family was going through tougher times and shined through together in prayer.
