2 volumes. xii, 296; xi, 364 pp. First volume is full maroon calf with raised bands, black title label and gilt decorations and lettering to spine. Second volume is the same but in red. Both have marbled endpapers, all edges marbled and gilt crest of Malvern College to front boards; they are unused prize bindings with bookplates to front pastedowns. Minor scratches to boards on both volumes, but generally very clean and bright. Minimal spots internally, overall clean and bright. Stevenson's classic adventure novel Kidnapped as well as its lesser-known sequel Catriona. Each has four full-page black & white illustrations.
