This time it wasn’t her own flesh and blood they were rescuing. It was Casey—Zoe’s Achilles Heel. The girl who might very well get them killed!
Zoe Wilkes’ haunting past has reared its ugly head once again. Two troubled youth have managed to infiltrate her and her husband's youth center. Dylan wreaked havoc the first time he showed up, and he continues to cause trouble. Does he have any connection to the loaded gun discovered at The Den? Or the crime wave sweeping through town? Or the fire?
Zoe's peace of mind is being destroyed by Casey, Dylan's younger sister, who is reviving Zoe's fear and shame. Zoe is tempted to revert back to her old ways of dealing with things. But her Christian convictions won’t let her run away. Neither will her husband, Lance, who sees something good in them. Zoe knows she can’t go back.
When Dylan and Casey are caught in the throes of a dangerous conspiracy, Zoe must take action. But will she risk her life to rescue them? Will she and Lance find them in time? Saving them might be the key that ultimately sets Zoe free from her past!
