Designed for courses in Student Orientation, Student Success, and College/University Preparation.
How can students get the most out of college and use what they learn to achieve their goals in an everchanging world? This new edition focuses on helping students build successful intelligence — a combination of analytical, creative, and practical thinking skills that will help you achieve your most important goals in Education, Career, and Life.
The fourth Canadian edition of Keys to Success integrates Robert Sternberg’s concept of successful intelligence as an underlying structure. Powered by this theory, Keys to Success aims to help students know and believe in themselves, set and achieve their goals, learn throughout their lives, discover careers that fulfill and support them, build relationships with others from all backgrounds and walks of life, and experience the challenges and rewards that make life meaningful.
The success of this text is simple — When students understand how material will help them get where they want to go, they will become more motivated and able to retain what they learn. Covering a wide range of topics, including health issues, diversity and financial tips, this text's engaging content and design will appeal to all ages and types (full-time, part-time, working, parenting) of students.
